Annual Report

The Ferndale Police Department created the Honor Guard Team after the death of former Chief of Police Patrick Sullivan in 1999.

The Honor Guard Team has grown since that time into an effective unit that performs at City functions such as the Memorial Day Parade, Veterans Day and other appropriate city-sanctioned events.

The Ferndale Police Honor Guard has received training from the Minnesota Law Enforcement Memorial Association, and each of its members have or will attend a week-long training class at Camp Ripley Minnesota.

Sergeant Baron Brown is the commander of the unit, which trains once each month to keep their abilities as fine tuned as possible.
